Ben Muller is a composer, singer-songwriter, and instrumentalist based out of Brooklyn, NY. He has written music for short films, documentaries, podcasts, theater, and dance productions. With a background in jazz, classical, and popular music, his compositions range from string quartets and chamber ensembles to swing tunes and funk songs. His scores have been featured on Slate.com, at San Diego Comic Con, the SheNYC Theatre Festival, Newark International Film Festival, MetroCAF Festival, the LA New Wave Festival, Temecula Film Festival, Movement Research Spring Festival, Tarry Four Showcase, and a joint session of Congress.
He has released a number of original records with several groups, and is currently a member of The New Rockwells (thenewrockwells.com), The Long Run (www.thelongrunmusic.com), and the CDubU Blues Express. He has a BA in Music Composition from Amherst College, and an MM from NYU in Music Theory and Composition, concentrating on Scoring for Film/Multi-Media.
